After a negative experience with another company a couple of years ago, it was really nice to work with someone that wasn't trying to oversell me. Joshua was really thorough and took time to explain everything, giving me a no-pressure opportunity to decide how much we wanted to replace. He made repairs quickly, even with the need to have springs custom cut, and had clear communication about when he would arrive/depart and his timeline for repairs. Technician Joshua performed my door tune-up by replacing the main lift spring and all rollers. He explained the required service thoroughly and the entire process was completed within an hour. Joshua is the name of the technician that came to my home. I thought he was a salesman. Clean cut very nicely dressed. He explained to me in detail what needed to be done to repair/replace. I signed off on the contract and before I knew it he was ready to work. I can’t say enough about Joshua, pleasant,courteous honest, and intelligent. I highly recommend Family Christian Doors. I was frustrated a few days ago to come home from work, only to find my garage was stuck closed because the springs broke while I was away. I found FCD online and saw their many good reviews, so I booked with them and got my garage fixed this afternoon. Khalid was very professional and patient when explaining what was wrong with the garage and the repairs that would need to be made. He was also very patient as I worked through the home warranty process to get some of the costs covered. In total, I am very satisfied with the speed and quality of the repairs he made. Joshua came out first thing on a MONDAY MORNING to rescue us when the tension spring broke and we could not even open the door manually! He inspected whole door, lift motor, confirmed 25yr old spring sheared apart and quickly gave us an awesome price then replaced both springs. Even in Texas heat, he was kind, friendly, knowledgable, working quickly and efficiently respectful of our time and schedules.
